Care Guide
For Every Piece
This care guidance applies to everything I make:
Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, sunscreen, perfume, and hairspray have dried.
Take it off before showering, swimming, exercise, washing up, and sleep.
Brush off any grit first, then wipe with a soft, clean cloth. Please do not scrub.
Skip alcohol, acetone, nail polish remover, ammonia, bleach, and glass cleaner.
If a piece gets wet, pat it dry and lay it flat to dry.
Keep it out of direct sun, hot cars, and other sources of heat.
Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or compartment, somewhere dry and away from the bathroom.
Please do not bend, twist, or tug on a piece, and do not pull a knot tight.
Care By Material
-
Cleaning
To clean your piece, rinse or blow off any dust or grit first so it cannot scratch the surface. Then wipe gently with a clean, soft microfiber cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a drop of mild dish soap, rinse, and blot dry.
What to Avoid
Please avoid glass cleaner, ammonia, alcohol, nail polish remover, acetone, and paper towels, and do not scrub. Put your jewelry on after perfume, hairspray, lotion and sunscreen have fully dried. Keep it away from heat, hot cars and long direct sun.
Storing
Store each piece on its own in a soft pouch so it does not rub against other jewelry.
-
Cleaning
Please treat the printed side gently. Wipe it with a soft microfiber cloth, lightly dampened with lukewarm water if needed, and dry it promptly.
What to Avoid
Do not soak it, scrub it, or scrape it with keys, fingernails or tools, and avoid picking at the edges of the print. Please keep alcohol, sanitizer, nail polish remover and cleaning sprays away from it. Wear it after perfume, hairspray and lotion have dried.
Storing
Store it separately in a soft pouch, away from heat and direct sun.
-
Cleaning
Brush or wipe the piece gently with a soft, dry cloth. Please use a dry cloth only, since raw wood edges can leave a faint mark on a cloth.
What to Avoid
Please keep this piece dry. Do not use water, soap, wet wipes or hand sanitizer. Take it off before showering, swimming, washing your hands or exercising, and put it on only after perfume, lotion and sunscreen have fully dried. If it does get wet, blot it dry right away.
Storing
Store it dry and on its own in a soft pouch, not in a bathroom. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat.
-
Cleaning
Use a soft cloth with a little mild soap and water, and a very soft toothbrush for small crevices.
What to Avoid
Please take it off before exercise, housework, dishes, gardening and swimming, and before using lotion, hairspray, shampoo, perfume, nail polish remover or hand sanitizer, since these can dull the surface. Please do not bend, twist or drop it, and keep it away from sharp objects. If a piece ever feels sticky, stop wearing it and contact me.
Storing
Keep it out of direct sun, hot cars and windowsills, because all clear resin yellows over time and heat can soften it. Store pieces flat in a soft pouch of their own.
-
Cleaning
After wearing, wipe the earrings with a soft dry cloth and let them air out. If they need more, wipe the beads with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry them right away.
What to Avoid
Please keep these earrings away from water and take them off before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep. Put them on after lotion, perfume and hairspray have dried. Please do not soak them or use jewelry dips, polishing cloths with compound, or ultrasonic cleaners. The wire resists darkening, but coated wire can scratch or nick, so avoid bending it back and forth.
Storing
Store them in a dry pouch or small container, apart from other jewelry.
-
Cleaning
Wipe the beads with a soft cloth, and please do not soak the bracelet or use harsh cleaners. If it gets wet, pat it dry and let it dry flat.
What to Avoid
The cord is the part that wears out first, not the beads. To put the bracelet on, roll it over your hand rather than pulling it wide over your knuckles. Please take it off before showering, swimming, exercise, sleep and washing up, and put it on after lotion, perfume and sunscreen have dried. With regular wear I expect the cord to last roughly one to two years, and sooner with regular exposure to water or chemicals.
Storing
Store it flat, not hanging, out of sun and heat.

Cleaning
To clean stainless steel, wipe it with a soft cloth, or wash it with a little mild dish soap in warm water, rinse, and dry it right away with a lint-free cloth. For the nickel-free alloy earring hooks, wipe them dry with a soft cloth after wearing.
What to Avoid
Please avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive polishes on stainless steel, and take it off before swimming or hot tubs. If it is exposed to chlorine or salt water, rinse it and dry it well. Keep the nickel-free alloy hooks away from water, sweat, perfume, lotion and chlorine, and please do not use polish or jewelry dips on them. Over time, the metal can tarnish or leave a green mark on skin.
Storing
Fasten the clasp, store each chain separately in a dry pouch or compartment, and keep pairs of earrings together. Please do not pull a knot tight. Loosen it gently.
If Something Is Wrong
If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact me with your order number and a photo. I will make it right.
I do not offer repairs or replacements for normal wear or for damage that happens after delivery. Cord stretches, wire bends, and surfaces scratch over time, and the care instructions above are the best way to slow that down.
The Return Policy has the full details on returns, exchanges, and what I can offer.
If a resin piece feels sticky, looks cloudy, or irritates your skin, please stop wearing it and message me.
