The Story Behind Rainbow Charlie

Rainbow Charlie is a solo studio. I design, make, and ship every piece myself, one at a time.

Every piece starts as an idea and ends up cut, crafted, and cared for by hand, in small batches. Handmade means each one is a little different, and that's the point.

The name Rainbow Charlie holds real meaning for me. It comes from a chapter of my life shaped by both love and loss. It's a reminder that even in the hardest moments, color, creativity, and hope still matter. This business exists to honor that, without pretending things were ever easy or tidy.

Rainbow Charlie is inspired by my family, but run entirely by me. There's no assembly line here, just one person doing the work, start to finish.

Working out of the Pacific Northwest, I make small, deliberate pieces of color for people like myself, people who mostly wear black and gray. Good for keeping. Good for giving.

Rainbow Charlie exists to make space for color and meaning, even when things are complicated. Especially then.

Take a look around. You'll probably find something that belongs with you. And if you have an idea that doesn't exist yet, tell me about it. Custom pieces are always welcome, and sometimes the best ones start as a conversation.

If you'd like to stay in the loop, join The Color Note. It's where I share new releases and the occasional behind-the-scenes moment, sent thoughtfully and not too often.

Jet

Founder and maker of Rainbow Charlie. I design and make each piece myself, one at a time, for people who dress like they hate color, then let their earrings say otherwise.

Griffey

Equal parts good boy and head of barketing. His approval is the final step before anything ships, though his standards mostly involve treats and belly rubs.
